I. PERSONAL DATA

In general, you may visit the PARTAGE site without communicating any personal information about yourself. In any event, you are under no obligation to transmit this information to PARTAGE.

Nevertheless, in the event of refusal, you may not be able to benefit from certain information or services that you have requested. In some cases, PARTAGE may ask you to provide your surname, first name, e-mail address, postal address, title, telephone number, bank details and date of birth. By providing this information, you expressly agree to its processing by PARTAGE, for the purposes indicated in point 2 below and for the purposes indicated at the end of each form.

PARTAGE undertakes not to rent or exchange your details.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation adopted by the European Parliament on 14 April 2016, and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, PARTAGE informs you of the following:

1. Data controller
PARTAGE is the “Data Controller” and undertakes to ensure that the collection and processing of your “personal data” from our paper or digital collection forms (from the website www.partage. org) complies with the regulations in force applicable to the processing of personal data and, in particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, as amended by corrigendum on 23 May 2018 (hereinafter, “the European Data Protection Regulation” (RGPD)) and the amended French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

2. Purposes of processing
PARTAGE may process your personal information:

(a) to provide you with the information or services you have requested (in particular: sending you newsletters, commercial offers, white papers or assessing your level of compliance via a quiz);

(b) for the purpose of collecting information enabling us to improve our site, our products and services (in particular by means of cookies);

(c) for the purpose of contacting you regarding various events relating to PARTAGE, including but not limited to specific questionnaires, requests for urgent donations.

3. Recipients
PARTAGE is the sole recipient of your personal information. This information, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the sub-contractors used by PARTAGE (you will find more information about them in point 7 below). Neither PARTAGE nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors and users of its site.

4. Retention period
Your personal information is kept by PARTAGE only for the time corresponding to the purpose for which it was collected, as indicated in 2 above, and in any event for no longer than 24 months.

5. Data Protection Rights
You have the following rights concerning your personal information, which you may exercise by writing to us at the person mentioned in point 1.

o Right of access and communication of data
You have the right to access your personal data.

However, in view of the obligation of security and co
nfidentiality in the processing of personal data that is incumbent on PARTAGE, you are informed that your request will be processed subject to you providing proof of your identity, in particular by producing a scan of your valid identity document or a signed photocopy of your valid identity document (in the case of a written request).

PARTAGE informs you that it will be entitled, if necessary, to oppose manifestly abusive requests (due to their number, repetitive or systematic nature).

To help you in your approach, in particular if you wish to exercise your right of access by means of a written request to the postal address mentioned in point 1, you will find by clicking on the following link a model letter drawn up by the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (the “CNIL”).

Right to rectify data
Under this right, you are entitled by law to request the rectification, updating, blocking or deletion of any data concerning you that may be inaccurate, incorrect, incomplete or obsolete.

You may also define general and specific directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death. Where applicable, the heirs of a deceased person may request that the death of their relative be taken into account and/or that the necessary updates be made.

This right may only be exercised in one of the following two situations:

  • when the exercise of this right is based on legitimate grounds ;
  • when the purpose of exercising this right is to prevent the data collected from being used for commercial prospecting purposes.

6. Response time
PARTAGE undertakes to respond to your request for access, rectification or opposition or any other additional request for information within a reasonable period of time, which may not exceed 1 month from receipt of your request.

7. Authorised service providers and transfer
PARTAGE informs you that it has recourse to its authorised service providers to facilitate the collection and processing of the data you have communicated to us. These service providers may be located outside the European Union and have access to the data collected through the various forms on the site (with the exception of the form allowing you to exercise your data protection rights, which is offered and operated by PARTAGE).

PARTAGE has previously ensured that its service providers provide adequate guarantees and comply with strict conditions regarding confidentiality, use and protection of data. In particular, care has been taken to ensure that there is a legal basis for any transfer of data to a third country.

8. Complaint to the competent authority
If you consider that PARTAGE is not complying with its obligations with regard to your personal information, you may submit a complaint or request to the competent authority. In France, the competent authority is the CNIL to which you may send a request electronically by clicking on the following link.

II. COOKIES POLICY

When you first connect to the PARTAGE website, you will be warned by a banner at the bottom of your screen that information relating to your browsing may be recorded in files called “cookies”. Our policy on the use of cookies gives you a better understanding of the measures that we implement for browsing our website. 1. General information on cookies on the PARTAGE website
PARTAGE, as the publisher of this website, may place a cookie on the hard drive of your terminal (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) in order to guarantee you smooth and optimal browsing on our website.
